We welcome members outside our priority states - however, most Coalition work focuses on Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
Two steps to become a member:
Attend a Coalition Orientation: These one-hour calls are an introduction to our mission and values, the structure of our Coalition and meeting times, and our priority areas of work. We expect members to participate in a working group (or multiple!), and this Orientation gives a more detailed look at what our working groups are working on. You can register for Orientation below, or on our upcoming events page. If these times do not work for you, please reach out to a staff member and we can arrange a one-on-one meeting!
Submit a Membership Application: Once you have successfully attended an Orientation, we invite you to submit an application for membership. This application will be reviewed, and then you will be invited to join our working group meetings, be added to the list of members on our website, and be added to the listerv.
Membership applications are processed once per month, usually the week after Orientation has taken place. If you do not hear back from us within a month of attending orientation and submitting your application, or have a question, please reach out.
