Member Resources

A classroom or conference room with people seated around tables, watching a presentation on a screen. The screen displays a slide with the text 'Use fewer or share appliances'. The room features vibrant murals of diverse individuals in traditional attire on the wall behind the screen, and several water bottles are on the tables.

We strive to provide technical assistance, tools, and resources to our members. On this page, you can schedule a meeting with our staff members, find our downloadable member logo, event promotion form, and more!

Staff Office Hours

Our staff aim to make themselves available to Midwest BDC members to answer questions and provide guidance when needed. If your question would be better addressed through a meeting than an email, you can schedule a one‑on‑one meeting with the appropriate staff member below:

Member Event Form

Conflict Resolution

Are you participating in or organizing an upcoming event? We want to promote you!

This form was created to help track and promote events that our Midwest BDC members or member organizations are participating in and/or organizing. As a reminder, feel free to use the "Proud member of the Midwest BDC" logo or share that you are a member of our Coalition while organizing your event. Please do not claim Midwest BDC as a sponsor or organizer of the event unless you have discussed this with someone on our staff team prior.

Please reach out to Maggie (heiser@midwestdecarb.org) with any questions or concerns.

Our Principles and Norms

As outlined on our membership page, all Midwest BDC members adhere to the Climate Justice Principles and Jemez Principles for Democratic Organizing. We acknowledge the native land we do the work of decarbonization on, and the enslaved people who built the wealth of the United States with our Land and Enslaved Peoples Acknowledgement.

While in Working Groups, trainings, or other meeting spaces, the Midwest BDC team asks that all attendees adhere to our community norms, collaboratively developed by our members.

When working in a broad, diverse Coalition with others, we know sometimes conflicts can arise. The Midwest BDC team and Membership Working Group have developed a Conflict Resolution Form for members experiencing a conflict within our Coalition that they would like help addressing.
