The Local Policy & Codes Working Group helps communities across the Midwest take practical steps to cut pollution from buildings. We focus on local rules—like energy codes and building standards—that shape how homes and businesses are built and powered.

Our group brings together advocates from different states to learn from one another, share challenges, and collaborate to advocate for healthier, more efficient buildings.

Whether it’s ensuring new construction is all-electric or improving indoor air quality, we’re here to help local leaders turn policy into progress.
