The Strategy Game Begins: Map the Power

The Strategy Game Begins: Sort Players. Drop Personal Politics. Build Power.

Where we turn Election Shifts into a Clear, Non‑Personal Advocacy Plan

Building decarbonization is a power question. Do you know who actually holds it in your state?

Join MWBDC for an interactive session that moves beyond policy to examine the people, institutions, and relationships shaping building decarbonization decisions.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Identify who holds decision-making and influence power

  • Distinguish allies, opposition, targets, and potential partners

  • Map where their organization already has relationships and power

  • Begin building a State Building Decarbonization Power Map for the next legislative session

Together, we’ll explore who holds power over building decarbonization decisions, who influences them, and where advocates already have leverage.

Participants will leave with stronger power-mapping skills and the beginnings of a State Building Decarbonization Power Map to help identify targets, allies, relationships, and opportunities for the next legislative session.
