Healthy Homes for renters: Electrification for everyone

Building decarbonization can sound highly technical, but the decisions being made about our buildings affect everyday life: how much families pay for energy, the air they breathe, the safety and comfort of their homes, and whether they can benefit from the clean-energy transition.

This conversation will demystify heat pump water heaters and connect the technology to healthy homes, indoor air quality, electrification, affordability, renters, affordable housing, and environmental justice.

The central question guiding the conversation is:

How do we make healthy, efficient, all-electric homes accessible to everyone—not just households that can afford to transition first?
