The Affordable Housing WG works to advance energy efficiency, decarbonization, and electrification in affordable housing programs so low-income renters are able to equitably benefit from the clean energy transition.

Working group membership features a mix of green building experts, affordable housing non-profits, and community advocates in Midwest BDC states. Past and on-going topics include affordable housing developer tax credits and energy benchmarking of multi-family buildings.
